Legoland Trip 2010

We took the kids to Legoland in Carlsbad, CA in the middle of July. You think it would be hot, or at least warm...nope, FREEZING! But that didn't stop us, and it didn't even stop the kids from trying out the waterpark!

This is a fun ride that only Jackson is big enough for (besides Steve and me). It spins you around and dangles you over water. Jackson loves it!

We went into a show to warm up and Summer, who is not afraid of going onstage, got chosen to help out. It was a story about Egyptian times and a lost tomb or something.

Collin stayed up late at the hotel building his fire truck set he got in Legoland.
Speaking of the hotel, at 5:00 a.m. one morning the smoke detector alarms went off and jolted us all out of bed and we had to throw on slippers and evacuate! All the guests had to stand around in the parking lot or hang in our cars and watch as the fire department came to clear the building for us to return. It turns out it was a faulty wire in a storage room that started smoking and set off the alarm. We were let back in at 6:00. We all went back to bed!

Such cute pics! It is freezing this week too! It's crazy here. We went from unseasonably hot to record cold. My kids have been sick for weeks. CRAZY!

You have such a beautiful family!
