Jackson gave the closing prayer in senior primary last week. Steve and I were both teaching so we couldn't be there to watch. He was a little nervous, but I reassured him he could do it. After church one of the primary teachers came up to me and said, "You missed the cutest prayer by Jackson!" She said that at one point he said, "Please bless that next week is better than this week...I mean, just as good as this week or better." (He redeemed himself). Then he said something about getting home safely and a quick "Amen!" The teacher said it was so cute because you could tell it was from his heart, not coached at all!

That is awesome that he gave the prayer. I hate getting put on the spot in front of a group of people. That is why they never ask me to speak or say the paryer in church. Maybe someday i will get the guts to do it!
