My Babies Are Growing Up

I have had two recent experiences with my little ones "growing up" (sniff)...

Pajama Day was coming up at school and Jackson quietly pulled me aside at home and said, "Mom, can you get me some pajamas that aren't, you know, Spongebob or character pajamas for Pajama Day?" Off I went and bought him a sweatshirt and Tony Hawk (pro skateboarder) pajama pants.

Then yesterday I bought Summer 3 cute t-shirts from the toddler section (she still fits in the largest toddler size 5T) that had like flowers applied to the upper corner, one had balerina slippers and the other hearts or something. She usually loves new clothes so I was excited to show her. She made a funny, disgruntled face and I said, "What? You don't like them?" And she said, "Well, their kind-of babyish." I had to really convince her to at least try them on.
