Steve's sisters have asked me to post about my birthday, and I actually thought of a great story from my birthday that I definitely want to write down. We drove back to St. George from Anaheim on the afternoon before my birthday. We stopped to outlet shop (for my birthday) in a little town outside of Vegas called Primm, NV. Steve walked around with the kids while I shopped for myself (now that's my kind of bday)! When I met back up with them Summer came up to me with tears welling in her eyes and I said, "What's wrong?" She replied through her tears, "Daddy wouldn't let me buy a ring I picked out for you!" I said, "Was it expensive?" and she said, "I don't know, but I know it had a "S," a "A," a "L," and a "E" on it! The tears kept coming. Steve didn't hear this so I motioned to him that I was going to walk around with her. We never found it, but she was determined. So I told Steve and he said, "Don't give in, she picked out like 100 things for you." (Turns out they had gone into Charlotte Russe and picked out some chunky jewelry and sunglasses for me when I wasn't with them). I told him, "Well, she really wants to get that ring for me, so what store was it?" Exasperated, he told me. So she and I went in there and got it (a whole $4)! To put it nicely, it is a very, shall we say, "Princess or Queen like" ring. Gold and gawdy with a big purple gem. I wear it with pride! It will always remind me of this birthday!
Steve's mom also sent the most yummy homemade cake, chocolate and oreo cookie! Thanks!

Happy Belated Birthday! I love when kids do things like that. I remember Keslee wanting to purchase things for someone's Birthday, Christmas, etc. but not having any money, she still does that!
How sweet is that, little girls are just the sweetest things this world has to offer! Happy Birthday!
We saw your mom and dad at brick oven last weekend. We were there with my parents and they told us that story about Summer. What a thoughtful little daughter you have!
