Oh no! What have I done! At least hair grows back...Here is how it all came about...
With all this crazy weather, snow, then runoff, snow, then runoff, fluffy Gizmo was getting awfully dirty and muddy up in the scrub oak behind our house. One day I bathed him 2 times, it was really getting old. Then I thought about how my mom and Steve's mom are going to be babysitting our kids for a week during the first week of May, and dirty, fluffy Gizmo comes with the job (I wanted to make it easier on my moms). So, I scheduled him a cut and groom at Petco. When I took him in, I said that I didn't want him to look too different, so not too short. She said, "1/4 in. is still 3 steps higher than the shortest cut," so I gave her the okay. Look at the results! If I only had a tape recorder to record my kids' belly laughs when they first saw him!
(Mindy, don't let Gracie see, she will fall out of love with him!)

Oh my Gosh! Poor Gizmo, that is so funny I especially LOVED the song you posted with it. I was laughing out loud. He still is the cutest puppy ever though.
That is soooo funny. Poor Gizmo's first stylist dilemma (My college roomate's told me about her first encounter with a lame stylist. She said after the stylist ruined her hair she told her to just wear it in a side ponytail until it grew back out. That was our running joke for the rest of the year. Maybe it could work for Gizmo too). He actually still looks really cute in the picture. He just looks like a different little dog. And, Gracie still loves him.
I hate a bad haircut. Its cute how concerned you are for his wellbeing and good looks. He's still a cute dog, and it will grown back fast just wait. I like the potty training idea you came up with made me giggle.
I am so jealous!! My first dog when I was kid was named Gizmo and he looked just like your cute dog!! You make me want one even though its like having another child. I have to agree with Suzanne he is the cutest puppy!!
Love the dog pics. Ethan is looking at them with me and keeps asking me to go back to them so he can see "that dog". Poor boy is such a dog lover! He wants a one soooo bad! I'm NOT ready to venture there yet! Where are you going in May? I hope it's somewhere fun! Miss ya tons Heather
