President's Day 2008

Thank goodness we have the "red rocks" of St. George to escape from this harsh winter every so often!  The boys have electric scooters they like to race around the neighborhood there.
Hiking "the narrows," at least, St. Georges' scaled down version of them!

Summer's into striking a pose these days, oy vey...

Roasting marshmallows at home, mmm good!

The kids look like they are having fun! I wish we had a place like that to escape to. I can never get out of this cold because my hubby's schedule is horrible. If he has time to go someplace he calls me and says "Have your bags packed, i will be home in one hour, let's go"! And usually we only stay for a few days!

There is something so wonderful about being able to get in the car and drive to warmth and sunlight. We spent last weekend in 70 degree weather in St. George -- Ahhhh. We were in Green Valley. Where is your place? And do you ever rent it out? Heh, heh.
