Group shotEvery year a few days after Christmas the whole Hall clan joins in Northern Utah for a reunion for a few days. This year we all stayed in the same huge house at Bear Lake that Emily found for us. What a great house! The best part was in the basement it had this gigantic 2-story playroom for the kids, they spent a lot of time there. Also, there were 2 flights of stairs from the main floor going down, and built in next to it was a tube slide to go down instead of the stairs-also, a blast for the kids. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds, a huge kitchen, 2 family rooms and a theater room. Kudos to Emily for finding this place.
We exchanged Christmas gifts, sledded, the guys went snowmobiling at Beaver Creek Lodge, the kids had story-time with Grandma every night, Melanie led us in chiming Christmas tunes, Jackson did a comedy routine, the kids re-enacted the nativity (first time ever), we ate at the "famous" Bear Lake Pizza, and Melanie and I bettered our score from previous years late into the night on kareoke. Fun times!

I loved the pictures. My son saw them all and asked whose family it was. He thought it looked like so much fun!!!! It sure looks like a great spot for a family gathering! Too bad we have a smaller extended family!
Bear Lake is the best!! We always go in the summer but winters are fun, too. Looks like you have such a great family and you guys have lots of fun together. Hope you had a great holiday break!!
